What makes Womb 2 Worthy® different

Most healing spaces teach information.
Womb 2 Worthy teaches a way of living.

Self-mothering is not self-care. It is the lifelong practice of relating to yourself with the consistency, compassion, protection, discernment, nurture, and accountability you deserved all along.

This masterclass is a healing-centered education experience. It is not therapy, diagnosis, trauma processing, crisis intervention, or a promise that your relationship with your mother or family will be repaired. You will not be required to disclose personal trauma details. You move at your own pace, and you may pause whenever you need to.

Our philosophy

Healing is sustained through repeated, relational acts of self-mothering practiced within culturally rooted community until they become identity.

Women do not heal simply by understanding their wounds.

They heal by practicing new ways of relating to themselves until those practices become who they are.

Recognize · The first movement

You may know something happened, even if you never had words for it.

The mother wound is not only about your mother. It can also include caregiver wounds, family system wounds, cultural silence, emotional neglect, parentification, inherited survival patterns, and the ways Black women are often expected to mother everyone while being under-mothered themselves.

You may have learned to be the strong one, read the room before trusting your own body, over-give before asking for care, or abandon yourself to stay connected. This masterclass gives you language for what you have carried, without requiring you to blame, expose, or relive every detail of your story.

Recognition is the first act of self-mothering.

Meet the Founder

The thread that became a method.

Ronnett Shadon, founder of Womb 2 Worthy®

Ronnett Shadon

Founder · Womb 2 Worthy® · Creator of the Self-Mothering Method

Womb 2 Worthy® was not created overnight. It emerged from nearly a decade of building spaces where people could express themselves, engage in courageous conversations, and heal through art, education, storytelling, and community.

That journey evolved from Reachers Club, to Reachers United, to Womb Stories. Although each chapter looked different, they were all connected by one question:

What was the thread connecting everything I had been creating?

The answer led me back to my own healing, my relationship with my mother, and my desire to create the kind of healing space I needed—and that women like my mother deserved.

That realization became Womb 2 Worthy®, introduced publicly through my TED Talk in 2020, and has since evolved into The Self-Mothering Method—a healing-centered educational methodology that helps Black women rebuild self-trust through lifelong learning, relational practice, and culturally rooted community.

What began as my search for healing became a methodology for helping women come home to themselves.

Frequently asked

Questions you may be holding.

Is this therapy?+

No. Womb 2 Worthy® is a healing-centered education space. This masterclass is not therapy, diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, medical care, emergency support, or legal advice.

Who is Womb 2 Worthy designed for?+

Womb 2 Worthy was created for adult daughters navigating the lasting impact of the mother wound through the lived experience of being raised and socialized as female. The teachings, language, and healing framework are grounded in that experience.

At the same time, emotional wounds caused by maternal relationships can affect people across many identities, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. While those experiences deserve understanding and support, they may involve unique dynamics that extend beyond the current scope of this program.

As Womb 2 Worthy grows, we hope to expand our educational resources and healing pathways to serve additional communities while remaining true to our mission and expertise.

Is this live?+

No. This masterclass is pre-recorded and self-paced so you can watch privately, pause when needed, and move at a pace that feels supportive.

Do I have to share personal details?+

No. You are not required to share trauma details or personal stories. Reflection can happen privately in your journal.

What if I am in crisis?+

This masterclass is not crisis care. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services now. If you are in the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.

What happens after the masterclass?+

You will be invited to continue through the Self-Mothering Method™ — the Self-Mothering Workbook, the Self-Mothering Intensive, and sisterhood spaces — as each opens.

Is this only for people who want to reconcile with their mother?+

No. Healing does not always require reconciliation. This masterclass is about awareness, self-mothering, boundaries, and worth. It does not promise or require family reconciliation.
